LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The traveling replica of the Vietnam Wall, that is specific to Kentucky, was unveiled in Frankfort Monday.
The wall displays the name of 1,105 Kentuckians who were killed, taken prisoner or still missing in the Vietnam War.
The wall, which is 9-feet-tall and 18-feet-long will have no permanent home and will travel to every county in the Commonwealth.
The money to build the wall was raised by several veterans’ groups two years ago.
An estimated $29,000 was raised.
