LIST | Kentucky, Indiana school districts that have canceled due to COVID-19

Schools across Kentucky are closing in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Here's a list of school districts across Kentucky and Indian that announced closures due to the coronavirus outbreak. The list of schools in both Kentucky and Indiana will be updated as more announce their plans.

Kentucky:

  • Breckinridge County Schools - March 16 - April 13
  • Bullitt County Public Schools - March 16 - March 27, non-traditional instruction
  • Fort Knox Community Schools - March 19- April 5, Online Learning intruction
  • Grayson County Schools - Closed March 16-  April 13, non-traditional instruction
  • Hardin County Schools - March 16 - March 27
  • Henry County Public Schools - March 16 - April 10, non-traditional instruction until spring break
  • Marion County Schools - Closed March 16 - April 3, non-traditional instruction
  • Meade County Schools - Closed March 16 - April 3, students return April 6
  • Oldham County Schools - March 16 - April 6
  • Jefferson County Public Schools - March 16 - April 5
  • Louisville Catholic Schools - March 16 - April 3
  • Shelby County Public Schools - Starting Monday, March 16 students will work from home.
  • Taylor County Schools - Closed March 16 - 27, cyber instruction

Indiana:

  • Greater Clark County Schools - March 16 - April 3, eLearning through March 20
  • Clarksville Community Schools - March 13 - 20, eLearning
  • Community Montessori New Albany - March 16 - 29, eLearning until spring break
