LMAS searching for information after 2 dead dogs found in trash bags behind Valley Station business

LMAS said the dogs were found in a brushy area behind the business on June 25.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Animal Services is asking for the public’s help in finding information after two dead dogs were found discarded in Valley Station.

In a post on Facebook, LMAS did not disclose the area where the dogs were found, but said they were found in black trash bags behind a business on June 25.

They describe the dogs as a female tan and white English bulldog type and a black (possibly with some white) long-haired, small breed dog.

LMAS said due to the dogs’ condition, they were not able to share any photos but showed photos of a brushy area behind the store.

If you have any information that can help LMAS in this case, you are asked to email animals@louisvilleky.gov or call and leave a message at (502) 473-7387.
