LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police are investigating after a man was shot in the shoulder in west Louisville.
Around 2:25 p.m., Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) officers responded to a call for service on a report of a shooting in at 28th and West Broadway.
Upon arrival, officers said they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his shoulder. EMS took the victim, who was alert and conscious, to UofL Hospital where they are expected to survive.
The LMPD Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating.
