LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead after being hit by a vehicle in downtown Louisville late Friday night.
Louisville Metro Police confirmed the call came in just before 9:40 p.m. on reports of a person hit by a vehicle at 6th Street and Broadway.
Investigators said EMS transported the man to the hospital where he later died.
The driver of the vehicle did stay on scene police said.
Broadway between 6th and 7th Streets remained closed while the Traffic Unit investigated.
