Local travel bus company to rally in Washington D.C. for COVID-19 relief

Evan Doyle with Doyle Distribution says travel bus companies have not seen any relief during the COVID-19 crisis.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville travel bus company is headed to Washington, D.C.

Evan Doyle with Doyle Distribution says travel bus companies have not seen any relief during the COVID-19 crisis.

He and his workers will be joining other companies from across America for a rally in DC on Wednesday.

“Just making sure that not only are our employees employed at the other side of this but our passengers are connected and we do this in a safe manner. We're not urging to open this up right away and do something that would cost lives, but to just keep us alive until we can get to the other side and just keep everyone going,” he said.

Doyle says even once restrictions are lifted, it will still take time to get back into making the kind of money they normally do.
