They confirm to us that The 19th Engineer Battalion has been doing some demolition training the past few days. If you've lived around here long enough you know the sound (and the vibration) from Fort Knox travels.
WHAS11 had several calls and messages from viewers in Southern Indiana who hear the activity and also from viewers who live in South Louisville. I wouldn't be surprised if people in Oldham County are hearing it too. Gerry in South Louisville just told me, "it sounds like we're being invaded!"
