Police said the child was reported missing and later found at a nearby pond.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Jefferson County Coroner's Office said a child found in a pond Thursday morning died of probable drowning, calling the death an accident.

Louisville police said officers responded to a call about a missing boy in the 6800 block of James Madison Way at around 8 a.m. Thursday. LMPD said officers found Bryan Wilson in a pond near Galston Blvd. and Link Way.
