New athletic complex unveiled at Louisville Collegiate School

Those who were on hand for Sunday’s ribbon cutting ceremony said the Barker Brown Athletic Complex has been a long time coming.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville Collegiate School hosted a ribbon cutting to showcase the final expansion of its athletic complex.

The Barker Brown Athletic Complex has new team conference rooms, squash courts and a virtual golf simulator.

Those who were on hand for Sunday’s ceremony said the building has been a long time coming.

“I think this complex is truly a game changer for Collegiate Athletics. It’ll give our student athletes and so many programs with the opportunities that we have not had in the past,” athletic director Paul Augustus said.

The Louisville Collegiate School is an independent school serving students from grades K through 12 in the Highlands neighborhood.
