LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The Confederate statue that was moved from the University of Louisville’s campus to Brandenburg is expected to be reassembled Monday night.
After the statue was deconstructed for the move last month, Mayor Ronnie Joyner decided his city wanted the monument as is.
Even though the statue will be finished, Brandenburg plans to unveil their new waterfront monument during summer 2017.
