LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Spooky season just wrapped up and a popular Louisville radio station has flipped the switch, setting their sights on Christmas.

At 10 p.m. on Halloween night, Mix 106.9 made the switch to play 24/7 holiday music through Christmas night. It's an annual tradition signaling the start of the holiday season in Kentuckiana.

Dubbed, "Louisville's Original Christmas Music Station," the radio station is known for regularly playing popular adult contemporary music.

As like in previous years, not only will there be a festive soundtrack to fill you with the Christmas spirit, there will also be contests like the "Jingle Bell Rock Double Play."

According to a news release, Mix 106.9 is also the official radio station of Fete De Noel at Paristown.
