LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A woman is dead following an early morning shooting in Louisville's Park DuValle neighborhood on Friday.
Louisville Metro Police said Second Division officers responded to the 3500 block of Shadyside Drive around 8:45 a.m.
At the scene, officers found a woman inside a residence with a gunshot wound. EMS was called to the scene and pronounced her dead.
Details about the shooting are limited, however LMPD said "all parties have been accounted for."
LMPD's Homicide Unit is handling the investigation.
