Louisville police cancel Operation Return Home for man possibly in 'manic state'

Lucian Gooden has been found and is getting assistance, police say.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Update:

On Dec. 22, police issued a statement saying Lucian Gooden has been found and is getting assistance.

Police are asking for the public's help in searching for a missing man last seen in the Camp Taylor area around 3:30 am. Thursday. 

Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) said 27-year-old Lucian Gooden was last seen wearing gray cargo pants, brown work boots, several layers of clothes, a brown Carhartt coat, and a black backpack. 

Police said he is possibly in a "manic state."

Gooden has a mohawk with the sides shaved and tattoos on his arms, legs, and neck. 

LMPD said he is 6 ft. 1 in., 190 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.
