LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead and another was injured after a shooting in the Russell neighborhood Tuesday morning.
Louisville Metro Police said the shooting happened around 10:30 a.m. near 15th and Jefferson Streets.
When officers arrived on scene, they found two men who had been shot inside a vehicle.
The victim who had been fatal shot was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.
The second victim was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital and is expected to survive.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is investigating, however there are no known suspects at this time.
