LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Renshoku Ramen is taking over a Louisville Italian restaurant after nearly a month of being closed due to fire damage.

DiFabio’s Casapela Italian Restaurant is hosting Renshoku for a four-night takeover event to benefit the ramen restaurant’s crew while their location remains closed.

Renshoku Ramen will be open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in DiFabio’s space on Friday, July 5 to Saturday, July 6 and again Tuesday, July 9 through Wednesday, July 10. DiFabio’s is located at 2311 Frankfort Ave and will not be open for service simultaneously with Renshoku.

Renshoku closed on June 7 after a car collided with a tree and parked car outside the restaurant at 2nd and Oak streets, killing the driver and causing a fire that spread to the building.

“If you are able to come out and support please come see us we miss y’all,” a Facebook post by Renshoku’s team said.

Fans of the ramen spot can also support the business by buying gift cards and following them to pop-up locations across Louisville. Click here to stay up to date with future pop-ups and re-opening information.
