LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville Zoo hosted a meet and greet with athletes from Louisville City FC, Racing Louisville and dancers from the Louisville Ballet
The event aimed to celebrate the intersection of sports and performing arts.
Fans were able to meet the stars, get autographs and enjoy a special afternoon outdoors at the Islands. Soccer fans like Aimee Bratcher and her family jumped at the opportunity.
“The three oldest ones are playing soccer, and we were talking about their soccer team this morning, we've also taken them to Racing games before and they think it's a ton of fun drumming and all the lights and the smoke and just being at a professional soccer game,” she said.
The event was free with Zoo admission or membership.
