LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville Zoo hosted a job fair for seasonal positions currently open.
Dozens of prospective employees gathered at the Islands Pavillion Gheens Room on Saturday to check out roles including admissions, education, guest services, horticulture and marketing.
Zoo officials said they are hoping to double the number of staff for the summer season.
“There are some perks in addition to hanging out and giving great customer service experience to our guests – and of course, the animals are always interesting to be around,” Kyle Shepherd, a media and public relations manager with the Zoo said. “I think there’s a lot of fun perks that come with working in this area. [We are] looking for folks who are willing to go above and beyond.”
