LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is in custody after spending over a week smashing windows around Louisville, according to Louisville Metro Police.

Alvaro Zecenarro, 30, was arrested by LMPD on Wednesday and charged with criminal mischief.

Zecennaro's multiple arrest citation say he would drive around Louisville, jump out of his car, smash random windows using a blue pickaxe and then leave the scene.

The citations said he began doing this around Aug. 13.

Authorities said video surveillance caught Zecennaro using the pickaxe to break windows on several cars and buildings across Louisville.

At each location, he caused hundreds of dollars in damage, police said.

The highest damage total from the citations was around $5,000 and the lowest was around $500.
