LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is facing murder charges after a body was found in Petersburg Park on Monday, according to a Facebook post from the Louisville Metro Police Department.
28-year-old Miguel Giron is charged with murder, abuse of a corpse and tampering with physical evidence.
He was already being held at Louisville Metro Corrections for unrelated charges.
Authorities said Sixth Division offices responded to an area near East Indian Trial and Petersburg Road, near Petersburg Park, around 11: 36 a.m. alongside EMS.
When first responders arrived, they found a man dead from "traumatic wounds."
There is still no information about what led up to the mans death.
