LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead after crashing his car into a home in the Bon Air neighborhood Thursday morning.
Louisville Metro Police said Sixth Division officers responded to the crash around 10:30 a.m. at the corner of Goldsmith Lane and Hikes Lane.
Authorities said the man was the only person in the vehicle and he was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital for a "medical emergency."
The man, whose identity has not been released, died at the hospital shortly after arriving.
No one was inside the home at the crash and no other vehicles were involved, authorities said.
LMPD's Sixth Division is still investigating.
