After around four hours of searching, crews said two kayakers in Floyds Fork have been found safe.

Crews from Fern Creek, Jeffersontown, Shepherdsville and Mt. Washington searched for the two kayakers after family members said they entered the water near Turkey Run at around 10 p.m. Monday and did not return home.

Officials said the kayaks capsized, but the two were able to get to land and go to a house where they were picked up. There was a miscommunication between family members, and some called 911 without knowing the two returned home.
