LOUISVILLE, Ky. — New Chapel EMS has filed a new lawsuit against Jamey Noel and his family on Wednesday.
The latest lawsuit is looking to recoup more than $4 million they said was spent illegally.
The lawsuit accuses Jamey, Misty and Kasey Noel of using New Chapel's funds and credit cards to pay for thousands of purchases like designer clothes and cigars, as well as an airplane and a Kentucky Derby party.
New Chapel's attorneys have called on Jamey to pay back three times the amount New Chapel said they lost.
They also asked that Jamey and his family be prohibited from selling any asset purchased with New Chapel funds.
Jamey has already agreed to plead guilty to 27 felony charges in a plea deal with the state.
However, that deal is contingent on Judge Larry Medlock accepting the deal. The judge asked to hear from Noel's alleged victims before he determines whether to accept the deal or not.
