Former Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen paid tribute to Moss before his game with the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
Moss's former teammate and mentor Cris Carter shared a message of support on social media as well.
Former NFL superstar Deion Sanders shared his optimism regarding Moss's health update.
Former Vikings quarterback and fellow Hall-of-Famer Brett Favre also shared a message of prayer for Moss.
Moss's former fellow Vikings wide receiver Jake Reed shared his thoughts for Moss.
The New England Patriots, one of Moss's former employers, went bigger with their message, holding Randy up for catching the disease early enough to embark on an aggressive treatment program. "Randy Moss doesn't lose one-on-one matchups" read the post on X, adding that cancer is about to get "Mossed," a tribute to his popular segment on ESPN's Sunday Morning Countdown show.
Moss confirmed his cancer diagnosis in an Instagram Live on Friday afternoon. "Your boy is a cancer survivor," he told supporters, sharing that he just been released from the hospital following surgery to remove a mass from a bile duct between his pancreas and liver.
The beloved Hall of Famer told fans and supporters he has a long road ahead of him, which will include chemotherapy. Moss, who is currently on an "extended leave" from his role at ESPN, thanked his fans for their prayers as he battles the illness.
