LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A St. Matthews hospital has a new name.
Norton Suburban Hospital on Dutchman's Lane is now Norton Women's and Kosair Children's Hospital. Crews recently finished the two year, $117 million renovation.
It's part of a goal to make the facility dedicated to the specialized care of women and children.
Some of the changes include more green space, more open floor plans and more natural lighting.
The hospital now features a newly redesigned NICU wing.
Part of the project was funded by the Children's Hospital foundation
