LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Some of Kentuckiana's best local drag artists are returning to the ice rink this holiday season.

On Dec. 3, the 4th annual "Drag Queens on Ice" returns to the Fête de Noël crystal ice-skating rink at 720 Brent Street from 7 to 9 p.m. The event will benefit the Kentuckiana Pride Foundation and is open to the public with free admission.

Due to the event's popularity in the past, for the first time ever it will also be simulcast on Paristown Hall's huge outdoor screen with the help of Kentucky Performing Arts.

This year's performers include hostess Leah Halston, Karmen Kazzi, Breanna Burns, Salem Vytch-Tryells, and Celeste DeChardonnay. It will also feature special guest MILK, an American figure skater and drag performer, who is best known for being a contestant on Season 6 and All Stars 3 of RuPaul's Drag Race.

"There is no other show in the Kentuckiana area like it," KPF President Rodney Coffman said. "With these graceful drag queens out on the ice, you have no clue what to expect."

Steve Smith, Paristown's managing partner, says he's always believed Paristown would be a special place within the community.

"If this show is anything like it was in the past, the public can expect an evening filled with lots of holiday spirit, laughter, and great entertainment set amidst a delightful festive holiday atmosphere right here in Louisville," Smith said.

What is Paristown's Fête de Noël?

Back for its fifth year, the annual holiday tradition at Paristown has become a popular destination for holiday travelers.

For six weeks, the community can enjoy ice skating on a large 100' x 40' ice rink and take photos with Santa. There is also a holiday market and trackless train.
