LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) is investigating after a man was found dead inside a home in the Beechmont neighborhood.
Authorities said around 8 a.m. on Monday officers responded to the 1100 block of Bicknell Avenue about a house fire.
Inside, fire crews found a man dead from a gunshot wound.
The LMPD Homicide Unit was contacted and is working with Metro Arson in the investigation.
It is a death investigation at this time, police say.
