Police: Teen admitted to killing man on 11th St. and Muhammad Ali Blvd.

Louisville Metro Police said 18-year-old Tyrone Mack admitted to killing Stephon Bowman in a car on the corner of 11th St. and Muhammad Ali Blvd. on Nov. 13.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Louisville Metro Police said 18-year-old Tyrone Mack admitted to killing Stephon Bowman in a car on the corner of 11th St. and Muhammad Ali Blvd. on Nov. 13.

LMPD received a tip and arrested Mack on Dec. 31. He had also been wanted in connected with an Aug. 14 shooting at Shawnee Park following an altercation. Antonio Anderson, who was participating in a kickball game at night under the lights, was killed in the crossfire. Two others were injured in that shooting but survived. Two others have previously been charged with the murder.

Police are continuing to investigate Mack, who they believe may be connected to other crimes.

Mack has been charged with murder, two counts of wanton endangerment, and tampering with physical evidence in the Nov. 13 shooting. In the Aug. 14 incident, he is charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder, and tampering with physical evidence in the Aug. 14 shooting.

Police have not released a motive in the alleged murder of Bowman.
