Thunderstorms knock out power for nearly 3,000 customers in Jefferson County

Louisville, KY (WHAS11) - Severe weather is making its way through Kentuckiana and with that, power outages. 

As of 7:30 a.m., nearly 3,000 customers in Jefferson County were without power and 1,900 customers are experiencing outages in Oldham County. Check out the LG&E outage map below and zoom in on your area for more information regarding a power outage in your area. If you need to report an outage to LG&E you can do so by calling 502-589-1444 or 800-331-7370. You can also send them a text by making sure your account is up-to-date with your mobile number and then texting OUTAGE to 4LGEKU (454358).
