A $100,000 winning Powerball ticket was sold in Kentucky. Here's where.

The Kentucky lottery said the person matched 4 numbers and the Powerball after last Saturday's drawing.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — It’s not exactly the big jackpot, but someone is $100,000 richer after a winning Powerball ticket was sold in Kentucky.

The Kentucky Lottery said the ticket from the June 22 drawing was sold at S-Mart on Hodgenville Road in Elizabethtown.

The winning Powerball numbers were 4-5-15-32-62 and the Powerball 21.

That ticket matched four of the numbers and the Powerball. The person would normally win $50,000 but the prize had multiplied because the person had added the Power Play to their ticket.

The Power Play number was 2. The lottery said it is an additional dollar per play.

The Kentucky Lottery said S-Mart is the second retailer in the area to sell a winning ticket in the last four weeks.

Recently, Circle K on North Dixie Avenue in Elizabethtown sold a winning $50,000 ticket.

They said the May 27 winning ticket was claimed on June 14 by a man who wanted to remain anonymous. He received about $36,000 after taxes and the retailer $500 for selling the winning ticket.

If you ever have a winning ticket, the Kentucky Lottery wants winners to sign the back of their tickets, keep them secure, and claim the prize within 180 days from the date of the drawing. .

The Powerball jackpot keeps growing. Saturday’s drawing is worth an estimated $84 million and will be held on June 24.
