LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Through an open records request WHAS11 has learned that former officer Kenneth Betts was under investigation for inappropriate contact with a female explorer in 2013.
That investigation was never completed because Betts resigned from the department.
LMPD released a statement last week saying there is another current criminal investigation involving the youth explorer program.
Sources have confirmed to WHAS11 that Brandon Wood is connected to this investigation. Wood is currently on administrative leave from the department.
