SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A local fire department has received life-saving equipment that will help keep people safe.
The Shepherdsville Fire Department received some rope and technical rescue equipment worth more than $9,000.
The equipment will be used for training and real-life emergencies.
The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation will celebrate the grant with firefighters on Oct. 7.
