LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Multiple people are displaced after a house fire in the Shively neighborhood early Thursday morning.
At about 1:10 a.m., Shively Fire, Louisville Fire and PRP Fire departments were dispatched to a structure fire in the 1800 block of Ralph Avenue, according to a SFD news release.
Crews arrived on scene and found heavy fire in a 1.5-story, wood-framed home.
Authorities say the fire caused extensive damage to the main fire building, with minimal damage to an adjacent property.
It took 25 firefighters and three handlines approximately 30 minutes to control the flames.
All searches throughout the house were negative and no injuries were reported.
The Red Cross was called to assist displaced residents.
LFD Arson is investigating the cause.
