Shooting victim arrives at downtown Louisville hospital by private means, LMPD investigating

Police said officers responded to the call just before 3:30 p.m.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police is investigating an incident where someone arrived at a downtown Louisville hospital by private means, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Police said officers responded to the call just before 3:30 p.m.

When they arrived, investigators said they found a man who had been shot. The man is expected to survive police said.

It is unclear where the shooting took place.
