LOUISVILLE, Ky. — One person has died following a single vehicle crash in the Algonquin neighborhood.
Around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, authorities responded to the area of 22nd and Algonquin Parkway following reports of a serious crash.
LMPD officers located a vehicle in the front yard of a home with a man, 63-year-old Keith Sykes, injured inside.
Sykes was driving the vehicle. He was found unresponsive with life-threatening injuries.
Sykes was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No one else was hurt in the incident.
LMPD’s Traffic Unit is handling the investigation.
