LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – After years being empty and recently being demolished, there's new life coming to the space that once occupied the Showcase Cinemas on Bardstown Road.
According to the Courier Journal, the property has been sold to a company called Playa Plaza.
The lot near Bashford Manor Mall has vacant for more than a decade since National Amusements closed the movie theatre.
There's no word what will go up in its place.
