LEXINGTON, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The Spring Meet at Keeneland in Lexington opens today, April 8.
The first race begins at 1:05 p.m. but gates open at 11:00 a.m.
Today is college scholarship day where students can register to win one of ten $10,000 scholarships.
One lucky student will win a $10,000 scholarship.
The Spring Meet lasts through April 29.
