LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The 64th annual St. James Art Show has been canceled in an effort to reduce the risk of COVID-19.
"Our executive board and art show staff do not take this decision lightly, and although it saddens us to have to cancel this year's St. James Court Art Show, the health and safety of our staff, artists, and visitors is our highest priority," said Howard Rosenberg, Executive Director of St. James Court Art Show. "With an average of over 600 exhibiting artists and 250,000+ visitors, we feel it is the most responsible action to take," Rosenberg concluded.
According to a news release, all artists from the 2020 art show are automatically invited to exhibit in the 2021 St. James Court Art Show on October 1, 2 & 3, 2021.
Artists from all five sections of St. James Court Art Show will be highlighted on the "Featured Artist" section of the art show's website. The "Featured Artist" section will be available 24/7 from September 1, 2020, to August 1, 2021.
