Hundreds of people won't have to continue paying their student loans after a settlement between the Sullivan University System and the Kentucky Attorney General's Office.

Former Attorney General Jack Conway sued what was then Spencerian College in 2013, arguing the school misrepresented job-placement numbers.

As part of a settlement, Sullivan agreed to forgive the loans made to 668 students between January 2007 and December 2011. That's a total of about $1.7 million.
