LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – One of four teens charged with killing a man in the Highlands has taken a plea deal.
Demond Malone has pleaded guilty to multiple felony counts including facilitation to murder as well as robbery charges.
Malone said the teens went to the Highlands in a stolen car with the intent to rob someone last November.
Jason and his wife Andrea Spencer, who were walking down the sidewalk on Everett Avenue, were allegedly targeted.
Malone allegedly gave a gun to one of the teens who, along with another teen, shot at the couple.
