LOUISVILLE, Ky. — After being closed for roughly a year, a Louisville champagne bar is making its grand return!

The Champagnery is set to reopen on Friday, Jan. 12. The nationally recognized bar is located in the Clifton neighborhood at 1764 Frankfort Avenue.

In winter 2023, the owners of the bar said they temporarily closed it to focus on other personal work-related projects and endeavors.

With a plan to reopen in spring 2023, officials said the owners took time to hire a general manager, implement staff, and develop a fresh menu offering new concepts such as High Tea. But once spring came, The Champagnery didn't reopen.

The champagne bar offers more than 250 champagnes and sparkling wines, craft cocktails and mocktails. They also have an expanded food and pairings menu that includes fresh baked bread, sweets, savories, sandwiches and salads. To browse the full menu, click here

The Champagnery's regular hours will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. with High Tea being served from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Minors between the ages of 18-21 are allowed to to to The Champagnery, but officials said they must be accompanied by a parent.
