LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Officials say the 112th Kentucky State Fair has hundreds of exhibits and activities to celebrate the state's history, heritage and culture.
The event begins Thursday at the state fairgrounds in Louisville and runs through Aug. 28.
A statement from the fair board says the event will be full of exhibits, livestock, food, rides and concerts. In addition, the World's Championship Horse Show will be held in Freedom Hall.
The event opens with a breakfast hosted by the Kentucky Department of Agriculture that features food from producers around the state.
Gate admission to the fair is $10.
