Tuition hike approved for UofL students

That comes to nearly $300 more a year, added onto tuition that's already about 11 or $12,000.

LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) -- The UofL Board of Trustees approved its budget for next year and it does include a 2.4 percent increase for full-time undergrad students.

That comes to nearly $300 more a year, added onto tuition that's already about 11 or $12,000.

Tuitions is also going up for graduate, professional and off campus students.

The university said those increases will let them bump up faculty salaries starting next year.
