LEXINGTON, Ky. — Kentucky's own Tupac Shakur has finally received help with his unemployment claim. 

Malik is what he is known as, lives in Lexington, and lost his job as a cook at a restaurant and had filed for unemployment, but Governor Andy Beshear thought it was a prank.

Beshear apologized and admitted he ended up being the butt of the joke.

Beshear once again owned up to the mistake while showing off a t-shirt during his news conference featuring him and the rapper, Tupac Shakur.

The governor said it's something he never expected to see.
