LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Months after a local vote required a bar in Clifton Heights to give up its liquor license, the business has closed.
A manager for Virtue Bar and Lounge confirmed the news with WHAS11 on Monday.
A sign now sits outside the Brownsboro Road building where the business occupied space saying it is available.
In November, residents who lived around the bar voted to make their precinct dry.
The owner previously stated he did his best to address the concerns, but it wasn’t enough to sway the vote.
