A young father and loving husband at a time where words don't come easy, Andrew Davis' wife Erica put her feelings on Facebook writing:
"If you really knew him, you would know he was thorough....he'd walk around the plane several times, he'd check seat belts, he'd check every aspect, every checklist."
Andrew was a pilot for TEG Architects, his wife says he dreamed of flying for UPS. It was something they talked about often. But, the last time she hears Andrew's voice is on this air traffic control recording.
She says, "I don't know what happened on Friday. I can't grasp it. I hear his voice talking to air traffic control... its calm it's my favorite."
Investigators still don't know what went wrong.
Erica also wrote, "My only prayer is that he felt nothing... that he had no time to even think or dwell on life."
A father of two young children, and a man of faith, Andrew's pastor remembers him.
"In a church like Northside it really is something special when you're as big a church as we are and you have somebody like Andrew who made such a big impact on everybody who was involved there," said Sam Thomas.
Now that community is rallying behind Andrew's family and his wife Erica. For Erica, a final line for an everlasting love, writing "I'd fly with you till the ends of the earth"
