The 31st annual Picture Your Pets with Santa will be held the first two weekends in December at all 23 Feeders Supply stores.

The event is expected to attract over 5,000 families and raise over $100,000 for animal charities across Kentuckiana. Charities include the Kentucky Humane Society, Floyd County Animal Rescue League, and the Humane Society of Oldham County.

“Picture Your Pets with Santa is the largest – and oldest – pet with Santa photo event in Kentucky and Southern Indiana, and thousands of families look forward to making holiday memories while supporting local shelters,” said Andrew Blair, KHS spokesperson.

Animals of all species are welcome – bring your chickens, bunnies, and ferrets along with your cats and dogs.

Pet owners can get professional holiday portraits taken and help local homeless animals at the same time. Photo packages start at $12 and gift items including ornaments, mugs, and key chains are also available. 100% of the proceeds benefit participating animal rescue organizations.

Owners are asked to have dogs on leashes and other pets in carriers. Horses are also welcome, and they will get their photos outside.

Picture Your Pets with Santa will take place on December 1-2 and December 8-9. Hours on Saturday are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and hours on Sunday are from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The event is fully volunteer-driven and 800 volunteers are expected to help this year.
