OLDHAM COUNTY, Ky. — Zack Wilt, the brother of Louisville Metro Police officer Nickolas Wilt, has been named the new Oldham County Emergency Management Director.
Nickolas Wilt was shot in the head while responding to the mass shooting at Old National Bank on April 10.
Zack can be seen pushing his brother out of the hospital when he was released back in July. Nick had been recovering in the hospital for more than three months.
According to documents from an Oldham County Fiscal Court meeting, Zack was officially named the new director on Nov. 8.
On Tuesday, LMPD closed their investigation into the bank shooting and released the full investigation report to the public.
