LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Election Day is just around the corner. There are so many more elections and measures to vote on besides the presidential election.
Here is how to find out what's on your ballot.
Firstly, it's important to check you voter registration. The deadline to register to vote in Kentucky has passed.
However, if you want to make sure there are no discrepancies in your registration you can enter your information into the Kentucky Voter Information Center.
Once you enter your full legal name and birthday the site will show your precinct and districts as well as polling locations.
There are a few ways to lookup what is on your specific ballot.
Your county clerks office may have a sample ballot website.
In Jefferson County for example, you can go to the county clerks website, enter your address that matches your voter registration and the website will open a pdf version of your ballot.
Both Kentucky and Indiana have voter portals where you can find your sample ballot depending on your county.
If you want more information about measures, amendments and candidates, you can also look at your sample ballot on Ballotpedia.
Ballotpedia is nonprofit and nonpartisan organization who serves as an encyclopedia to American politics.
To look up your sample ballot, all you have to do is that matches your voter registration and the site will pull up everything you can vote on. You can click through the different sections to get a concise or details explanation different parts of the ballot.
Election Day is Nov. 5 and the polls will be open from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.
