KENTUCKY, USA — Election Day is nearly here, and Kentucky voters will have several decisions to make this November on top of choosing who the next president of the United States will be.
Here’s a last-minute checklist to make sure you’re ready to vote on Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Check your local county clerk’s office website to figure out which precinct you need to vote in, if required to. You can also search for a sample ballot to see what local races and candidates will be on the ballot.
When do polls open in Kentucky?
The polls will open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time on Election Day in Kentucky.
Remember: If you are in line at 6 p.m., you will still be allowed to vote. So, stay in line!
What ID do I need to bring to vote in Kentucky?
Every voter in Kentucky will be required to present some form of identity verification at their polling location before they can cast their ballot.
Proof of identity verification can include a driver’s license, a military ID, a college ID or other government-issued ID.
