Louisville state representative temporarily suspended by Democratic party

The party also requested a formal investigation into Rep. Daniel Grossberg's conduct.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville state representative has been suspended by his own party.

According to a statement from Kentucky House Democratic Caucus Leaders, Representative Daniel Grossberg was temporarily suspended from the caucus.

The party also requested a formal investigation into his conduct by the Legislative Ethics Commission.

The party's statement said it had no further comment at the time due to the "sensitive nature" of the allegations.

"I welcome the investigation because the facts will clear my name," Rep. Grossberg said in a statement.

Grossberg represents a district just outside the Watterson Expressway. It includes Poplar Hills, Watterson Park and West Buechel.
